  Yesterday, my mother was trying to by a tracphone for someone. She wanted to if they could use the same number. The person in electronics told her that they did not know and to ask the cashier when checking out(the phone is activated at checkout). She then proceeded to the checkout line. The person in front of her had several items that were not ringing up right. The man behind my other was growing agrivated with waiting. When my mother got to the register, she asked the question about activation. This now made the man behind her start to become vocal about his agitation on waiting. The cashier was unsure of the answer and had to page a supervisor to answer the activation question. This man upset more mad. During this time he spoke to handful of employees close by in way that made my mother think he knew them and maybe worked there. When the supervisor arrived, the man inisisted that he could not wait anymore and for the supervisor to check him out in the next lane. The supervisor proceeded to do just that. The cashier walked over to that lane to ask the question. This made the man angry that this was spilling over the other lane. He then proceeded to tell my mother that she should have ask back at the electronics counter. My mom asked of he was trying to be helpful he said no and called her a stupid b***h. She said he was the one being a stupid b***h. The supervisor asked my mom to calm down after she said that. She said he started it and would like to speak to a manager. He continued to be rude to my mother while checking out. Upon leaving, he loudly said that he was going home where he did not have to deal with counts like my mother. My mom was in tears. No employee asked the man to calm down(like them My did my mother). When talking to The manager he told my mother he did not think the man worked there but would review the tapes and take action. He did not take he information. So, there is no way for the store to follow up. While Wal-Mart can not control the actions of customers. They can promote there employees to be better people. They should have ask the man to at least calm and possibly remove him from the store. Also, please keep in mind my mother was the customer who needed assistance and was the next in line but they helped him first.

  I went to the Walmart located on Sawmill Rd. and had a horrible encounter with customer service. It's clear they don't mind wasting someones time. I went to exchange a DVD that was skipping. The customer service department called the electronics department to search for the movie. Customer service said they would callback and until then they were going to help other customers. I waited 25 minutes and there was no call from that department. In that time none of the customer service people bothered to follow up by calling that department. I then had to wait in a long line again to ask ask customer service if they had heard back. They said they had not and took out an RF scanner and told me where in the store the movie was located and that I could go get it. After waiting 25 minutes that's when they decided they could look it up. They wasted my time, didn't apologize for the long unnecessary wait when they could have helped me in two minutes and then didn't bother to help me find where in the store this item was.
